Barnet turned professional in the 1965-66 season. Since then, we have played many teams. Now, for the first time ever on the internet, the results of these games are listed in one comprehensive index.

The teams we have played are displayed in alphabetical order. After some years in the making, this series is now complete!

  Navigation Advice

Each page has links from A to Z at the top and bottom. Some letters have more than one page (the B's for example are spread over five pages). There are links to the subsequent pages on the first page for each letter.

Alternatively, you may find it easier to return to this page by clicking on the Index link at the top or bottom, and finding the team you are interested in, in the list below.

There are some blank pages for J, U, V, X and Z.

According to the Non-League Club Directory 2003, there is a team called Jarrow Roofing Boldon FC of the Northern League Division One but we have never played them (and are unlikely to). We have also not played any teams beginning with U or V, although there is an Uxbridge FC, Vauhall Motors FC and Vicars Crayford Dartford Athletic according to the 2003-04 Non League Handbook.

There are no teams beginning with X or Z in the main index (of the Non-League Handbook), although there may be one listed in one the minor leagues. If you know of such a team why not let me know? Especially if they've got a website we can link to. Our email is info@bfcsa.co.uk

There is an A to Z of teams in the English League System on Wikipedia if you're interested. (Note the links above are to the relevant Wikipedia page.)

That's it!! Every team we've played competitively since the 1965/66 season. Phew!

Note, if I counted them right, there are 247 teams above! Although some of these are arguably the same team. Wimbledon / MK Dons / AFC Wimbledon are counted as three separate teams. Are they two separate teams, and if so, which two should be treated as one???? Also, there have been various incarnations of Dagenham, and Redbridge. And Stevenage. Not to mention Rushden Town, Irthlingborough Diamonds, and Rushden & Diamonds.
